Drinking water contains over 700 chemicals?

Sometimes some figures are so astonishing we dismiss them as untrue.

When it comes to our health though we should certainly be checking the validity

There are 70,000 chemicals being used in commercial production in the US. The EPA has classified 65,000 of them potentially, if not definitely hazardous to human health. Over 6,000 new chemicals are tested in the US each week! Three thousand chemicals have been identified as intentionally added to food supplies and over 700 in drinking water. During food processing and storage, more than 10,000 other compounds can become an integral part of many commonly used foods. One of the major symptoms of chemical toxicity seems to be a breakdown of the immune function, which encourages all kinds of symptoms in the body. Another major symptom is damage to the nervous system and nervousness. We aren’t rewarded immediately with good health and radiant well-being as soon as we change our “evil ways.” Our bodies has been clogged with so many types of toxins that it is not surprising that the human civilization has been plague by so many types of diseases for the last 20 years or so!

Toxic Environment

The vast increase of chemicals in our environment, foods and medicines has greatly altered the body’s ability to rid itself of toxins. Often, the recovery of health and improvement of the diet cause unpleasant symptoms. People truly seeking health have to decide to sacrifice their old comfortable diet patterns and habits to be rewarded by good health. It doesn’t take long before they discover that after improving their diet, they sometimes feel much worse. A

common complaint is, “Do I really have to go through that?” They’re going through what is called detoxification. Poor health and illness is progressive; it does not occur overnight. Good health and well being is also progressive; it may take weeks, months, or years depending on how toxic our system is.

Are Stimulants Toxic Too?

A stimulant is a substance that quickly changes a symptom in an unnatural way. Many people in Western society live on stimulation. We use stimulation to make us feel good. If you try to control a symptom with stimulants, the cause of that symptom will remain. The core of a problem will never be solved by using stimulants. The number of stimulants we use is endless, from drugs to food preservatives we eat everyday.

First Step To Detoxification

Detoxification involves dietary and lifestyle changes which reduce intake of toxins and improve elimination. Avoidance of chemicals, from food or other sources, refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and many drugs helps minimize the toxin load. Those lifestyle changes are a direct result of choices you make in your life. Make the right choices and you will be rewarded with good health.

Cleansing Your System

Bentonite clay and flaxseeds assist with the colon cleansing process. Bentonite is a type of edible clay that acts as a bulk laxative by absorbing water to form a gel. It binds toxins such as pesticides and helps to carry them out of the colon. Flaxseeds also absorb water and expand in the colon, allowing toxins and mucus to be removed. In addition, flaxseeds have been found to lower cholesterol levels too.

Most Effective Detox System

The most effective detox system is when you make use of your skin, your sweat glands and your body’s natural abilities to flushing out toxins. Sauna has also been well known to improve the conditions of acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns and any skin lesions and cuts. Open wounds also heal quicker with reduced scarring. All this is because sauna therapy is the most effective method in flushing out toxins from your body. Did you know that your sweat contains more toxins than urine?
